Some merchants may ask their customer to pay the card processing fees, when they chose to pay with card across Payment Links, Product Links or invoicing. ArtsPay has the option to include a surcharge amount that is automatically calculated and applied to the requested amount, and displayed as part of the customer's payment journey.

You can apply a fixed percentage for debit and credit cards for transactions in the local merchant currency, and a fixed rate for non-local transactions. Send our support team a request to enable surcharging on your account and we'll get in sorted.

Creating a surcharge

1. Login to your ArtsPay Dashboard, and click 'Setting' icon top right, then navigate to Account Details > Surcharge Settings.
2. At this stage, you need to get in touch with our support team to enable this feature. Get in Account Support and we'll help you through the steps.
